The school-age extended child care program (before and/or after school) will continue to work with the various schools which house our program within Bartholomew County. Our program benefits children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Currently we are located at the following schools:

• Clifty Creek (before- and after-school)
• St. Peters (after-school only)
• Parkside (before- and after-school)
• Schmitt (before- and after-school)
• Richards (before- and after-school)
• Smith (before- and after-school)
• Rockcreek (before- and after-school)
• Southside (before- and after-school)
• St. Bartholomew (after-school only)
• Taylorsville (before- and after-school)
• Mt. Healthy Elementary School (after-school only)

Children, Inc. provides care before school and after school at most locations. Incorporated within the program we provide breakfast and an afternoon snack.

Children, Inc. providing programming for school age children in a safe, fun and "hands on" environment fosters independence as well as time management learning skills. Our program offers support to families working or attending school yet seeking a stimulating learning experience for their children in a familiar "home school" environment with adult supervision. We gear our activities to the educational, social, emotional and physical needs of children. Activities include but are not limited to arts and crafts, science, reading, drama/imaginative play, indoor activities, outdoor play, large and small group experiences, as well as homework time.
